MAGIC

ALCHEMY IS CHANGE

~ It's normal for a human to influence their world ~

Alchemy is transmuting/changing one energy into another, like water into wine or victimhood into gratitude.

I was trained as a child to be religious, believed what was taught, and innocently trusted it to be true. Although a deep thinker, I would question things in my mind, but never had the courage to question authority out loud.

No older than ten, one Sunday school morning, my teacher told the story of Noah's ark and I remember thinking, "how did Noah know a boy flea from a girl flea when looking for two of each animal meaning one of each gender?"

Around the age of thirty, a man stood up in a religious service I attended and made a statement. When the service was over, I hunted him down because I had to ask him what he was talking about.

When I found him, he answered my question, and I went home and looked into it for myself and discovered after thirty years I had never heard of this subject, and it was right there, in black and white.

That sent me on a quest which ended with converting to a different religion. It was much closer to the truth I was after and has a foundation of magic and the occult which I have always been drawn to, however, after decades I realized it was just a different package of the same. A much closer package to truth, however, it was still a structure which hid important elements from the average participant while only sharing certain information to keep the follower dependent and disempowered.

Spirituality is a journey, not a destination

Leaving religion was easy having an insatiable desire to learn and finding religion and spirituality are two separate things.

SPIRITUALITY LEADS YOU BACK TO YOURSELF, WHICH IS SOUL.

Religion separates you from soul which is what I am (soul) having a human experience, and it inserts a middleman to replace the connection between the soul/self and source/the intelligence and creative energy of all, which I am a part of, no middleman required.

It's by design to keep people disempowered and seeking outside of themselves instead of knowing all they need is already available. This makes it easy to control the masses with two messages, "you are not good enough" and "fear death" which are fundamental to controlling with religion. Sneaky trick, yet very, very effective.

Next Stop: New Age

The natural progression to become a spiritual being led me to what I call, New Age. It's a huge umbrella with many different modalities and 'religious' practices under it, however, the one I began to entangle with was Law of Attraction.

Once again, it brought in a middleman to be the liaison between me and source creator, and the liaison is the universe.

This doesn't take away from the fact that all creation in the universe contains source intelligence and creative energy.

What I saw in the LOA system, people are being taught to hand their power over to the universe and expect the universe to be their servant and fulfill all their desires. LOA teaching theorizes everything that happens to a person is their fault, or in LOA language, they attracted it. When anything good happens to a person, they thank the universe, when something bad happens, they blame themselves for attracting it which causes shame.

SHIT HAPPENS YOU DIDN'T ATTRACT.

I found after years of trusting the universe to make all my wishes come true, the only people whose wishes come true (most are money) using the LOA methodology are the gurus teaching it. Very few people ever become the spiritual baddass their guru promises by handing over responsibility to the universe. Or worse, sitting around thinking about what you want, and expecting it to magically appear.

The universe does have laws and one is attraction. LOA has many truths, however, it's a sugar-coated version of truth that is more about the feelz than it is about being a responsible creator of your world and instead passes responsibility to the universe.

The universe doesn't care. It operates with laws regardless how high (fast) you think your vibe is or how many unicorns are doing cartwheels in the back yard.

We are the ones with agency to create the life we desire, or one that we don't enjoy. Both religion and New Age philosophy have the participant giving their power, their ability to be responsible souls over to an outside imaginary boss.

Universal energies, along with technological ones (for another time) work with us, not independently using us as their toy.

Spirituality was the path I decided to travel which led me back to myself. It cut out the middleman and has me being the responsible soul that I hadn't been. This isn't easy which is why it's common to give that power away. I found religion and New Age (another religion) always have the participant seeking and never finding, having faith in what you're told is true without thinking or questioning, and here's the clincher ... we're supposed to believe without results that prove any of it.

New age did help with attitude and gratitude, but the concept of not being responsible is classic savior programming which keeps people waiting for a rescue rather than being one.

Magic

Magic has always been enticing to me; however, the demonization of the art and science is programmed into the mind of religious people, and this had an effect on me. Couple this with the Hollywood version of hook-nosed witches, cauldrons steaming with potions of poisonous brew and devils dancing around with horns, hooves and pitchforks make anyone ignorant of magic want to stay far away from ever learning the truth.

If I were a member of a dark sorcerer coven controlling the world who knew how magic works and wanted to control civilization, I'd demonize it too. It would be dangerous if people learned their ability to shape the world because I wouldn't be able to control them. I'd occult (hide) it all and use Hollywood to create imagery showing how evil magic is. I'd have texts written discouraging the reader from divination, convincing them their soul could catch fire and burn forever if they did.

In an inverted, upside down, backwards and insane world it's wise to go in the opposite direction of the crowd. If the crowd were marching towards anything beneficial, the world wouldn't be so inverted, upside down, backwards and insane.

This world is the product of believing what we're told is true, without thinking or questioning.

This world is the product of disempowering people to the point they gladly give their power away.

This world is the product of very powerful dark sorcerers, turning billions of people into practicing 'satanists' while believing they are part of the light.

Magic requires responsibility, which is why the path isn't for everyone.

I decided to learn about magic. I'm not interested in learning from internet witches who seem reckless, and I won't be joining an organization with rules and restrictions no different than a dogmatic religion. I want magic to be personal, and I wanted to create a personal practice that was fun, and one I could see actual results using.

I've spent a lot of time just meditating. I mean a lot. Over the years I've found this to be a fundamental practice whether a person is a magician or a mechanic, a teacher or a teller. Meditation is for anyone wanting to have a peaceful mind, free of non-stop chatter, and want the ability to shut off outside noise and influence. I'm not claiming joining a monastery and sitting eight hours a day in silence is required. I found a few methods that I enjoy.

Meditation is the act of freeing your mind.

Meditation helps decrease attachment to thoughts.

Slowly, but steadily, magic as a practice has helped transform my inner world. I've taken occulted secrets about magic (nothing spooky at all and quite simple) and condensed it into a practice that is fun and has results.

With time, I've tweaked a few things, added a few. The result of real magic changes the person or self, which is a fundamental philosophy of self-improvement and manifesting. It's a magic principle, to change the outside world, you first change the inside world.

Most people are living a trajectory they didn't set for themselves. This happens when a person doesn't know themselves and instead has let others dictate who they are. The ability to shape experience, control emotions and behavior while living our highest potential becomes available with a magic and the foundation of meditation.

One could argue these things are possible without using magic.

However, are people using magic not realizing it's what they are doing?

Could they be much more efficient if they knew?

Yes, and yes.

Magic doesn't require doing candle rituals, lighting sage or reading tarot.

Magic, like religion can be used for blessing or cursing.

Today when you speak, using letters that form words (spell-ing), will you bless or curse?

By "curse" I don't mean throwing an F-bomb.

I do mean, will you speak a spell to harm or heal?

~ How do you speak to yourself ? ~ read that again

This path isn't for everyone. Most don't have the discipline required and I'm not writing to proselytize or convince. Those who wish to learn, will find their way.
