Words cast spells, which is why putting letters together to form words is called spelling.
There were years I spent in depression. This was a personal diagnosis not a psychiatric one and numbing symptoms with medication wasn't an option. I was depressed about the life I had created because of whom I had become.
It's not easy accepting responsibility for creating our circumstances.
Playing victim is disempowering
Magic requires an incredible amount of responsibility.
Many kinds of magical practices are in the world and unfortunately the word, 'magic' causes some to squirm believing it's all voodoo dolls, boiling caldrons filled with wool of bat and eye of newt or summoning demons to do your bidding.
That's not what I do.
Ater the dark night of the soul had finally come to its end, and I was going to transform the past into lessons, I crafted a new practice to assist with the process using the art of writing.
Magic can alter outer experiences simply by changing the meaning or perception. In other words, transformation starts from the inside and is reflected on the outside.
This is how you take your power back after it's been squandered.
You don't need to claim you are a magician, but you do need to take responsibility for all you create.
Be responsible with simple magical rituals like closing your eyes, making a wish and blowing out candles.
